Tuff-Boy 8995 water-Based Direct-to-Metal Semi-gloss Dry Fall is a premium high hiding coating designed for properly prepared interior or exterior surfaces made of ferrous or galvanized metal, drywall, aluminum, wood, masonry or acoustical tile. This corrosion resistant coating is formulated with a rust inhibitive resin system that helps prevent flash rusting on metal surfaces and has excellent gloss and color retention outside. When used with the Tuff-Boy Rust Stop primers, this product provides excellent corrosion protection for ferrous metals. Unlike traditional oil-based dry falls, 8995 will not yellow, is low VOC*, and has no harmful solvent odor. This quick-drying, highly reflective product will reduce lighting requirements and will promote safety and reduce eyestrain at dimly lit work stations which makes 8995 an ideal product for commercial and industrial areas such as large commercial ceilings found in manufacturing, warehouse or industrial areas where dry overspray characteristics are desired. This product is also suitable for use on properly prepared structural steel, piping, beams, girders, or trusses. Overspray from Tuff-Boy 8995 does not stick, but falls to the floor as a dry dust which may be swept up without damaging the surfaces on which it has fallen. This coating is designed for interior or exterior application via conventional or airless spray equipment only.
