5-56 is a premium waterborne 100% Acrylic interior/exterior primer/finish coat that is formulated with both a rust inhibiting resin system and rust inhibiting pigments to block tightly adhering rust on ferrous metal surfaces. This high solids primer is also an excellent product for both interior or exterior aluminum and galvanized metal surfaces. #5-56 is easy to apply and dries to a hard, low sheen finish and provides an excellent foundation for enamels or may be used solely as a finish coat. Due to the low sheen, #5-56 hides most imperfections giving a long lasting, durable, beautiful finish. #5-56 may be topcoated with either latex or oilbase coatings.
